Francisco Escudero, known by his stage name ‘El Perrete’, is one of the leading voices in contemporary flamenco singing. His work is characterised by a powerful vocal presence and a wide range of expression.

His singing combines technical mastery with expressive intensity, placing him among a new generation of artists committed to the genre’s continuity.

His recent album, Luz de Guía, recaptures the emotional depth and expressiveness of traditional flamenco, whilst opening it up to a broader contemporary perspective. In this format, El Perrete performs accompanied by guitar, percussion and keyboard.
