Tierra Bendita takes Andalusia as its starting point and explores it as a region deeply imbued with flamenco and the diversity of its stories and cultural landscapes.

Directed and choreographed by Patricia Guerrero, the show features a large cast of male and female dancers, alongside singers, guitarists and percussionists. Through this collective format, Tierra Bendita gives special prominence to a younger generation of flamenco artists, whilst maintaining a strong connection to the genre’s formal and musical foundations.

The concept is based on the idea that each region of Andalusia has developed its own distinct forms of flamenco, shaped by geography, memory and social history. In this sense, Tierra Bendita approaches flamenco as a living heritage, rooted in the region and open to new interpretations.

All performances at Sadler’s Wells Theatre are presented by Sadler’s Wells Theatre in collaboration with Flamenco Festival.
