Flamenco Meets Jazz 

This program is a creative collaboration that highlights exceptional musicians from the traditional sounds of flamenco and jazz, born out of an intensive creation process. Carlos de Jacoba, one of the most important figures in contemporary flamenco guitar, will bring his artistry to the stage alongside Zaccai Curtis, a highly talented jazz pianist known for his inventive compositions and improvisational skills. Carlos, whose music captures the soul of flamenco, will lead the performance, while Zaccai’s dynamic jazz influence will complement and enrich the fusion of these two powerful genres. This unique creation process will culminate in a special performance at the prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center for the 2025 Flamenco Festival in New York.

The performance, featuring pieces from Carlos de Jacoba’s latest work, will guide the audience through a captivating sonic journey, blending the passion of flamenco with the freedom of jazz, and celebrating the deep roots of both traditions.
