MAGNIFICAT takes as its starting point the biblical episode of the Visitation, when Mary meets her cousin Elizabeth and the two women, united by their pregnancies, share a moment of recognition. Building on this theme, María Moreno has created a work centred on joy, creation and the expressive power of the female encounter.

The piece approaches this episode through the lens of flamenco, transforming it into a choreographic and musical reflection on celebration as a physical and collective experience. Through movement, voice and presence, MAGNIFICAT explores how joy is embodied and how it can be shared on stage.
