With this piece, the choreographers and dancers Estévez / Paños invite us into flamenco’s ongoing evolution, revisiting its traditions through a contemporary lens.

Performed by five male dancers and accompanied by a live soundscape, the work draws from flamenco’s diverse roots—European, Roma, Jewish, and African—to create a series of refined, expressive vignettes. Known for their thoughtful and boundary-pushing approach, Estévez / Paños offer a fresh perspective on flamenco’s past, present, and future, always anchored in the earthy spirit of Andalusia.
